Suu isn't just measuring your water intake anymore — it gives you someone to look after. After updating the app you'll see a new section in your profile: My Pet. Pick a cat or a dog, give it a name, and from that point on your daily water streak belongs to it. Hit your goal and your pet gets happy; play any of the four new mini-games to earn droplets; spend droplets to dress your pet up and make it yours.
The hardest part of building a water habit is motivation. An abstract "streak: 12 days" counter loses emotional meaning fast — it's hard to feel anything for a number. Suu's new pet system fills exactly that gap: a character that gets sad if you skip a day. This shift matters for the brain. Tamagotchi worked in the 90s for the same reason; we ported that emotional loop into water tracking.
The mini-games exist to give you a reason to stay in the app. Logging water takes 5 seconds — then you're gone. Now you can drop in throughout the day, play a quick round, collect droplets and dress up your pet. The loop reinforces the habit and gives you something to share with friends.
Go to Profile > My Pet. Choose between a cat or a dog (you can switch later) and give it a name. Your pet then appears on the home screen next to your hydration coach card.
Hit your daily water goal and your pet gets happy — its streak counter grows. Miss the goal and it gets sad, but no data is lost; you can restart the next day. Streak badges (7, 30, 100 days) now belong to your pet.
From the home screen you can jump into 4 mini-games. Each game rewards droplets based on performance. Droplets are the in-app currency you spend on outfits and accessories for your pet.
Spend droplets in the Pet Shop: hats, glasses, collars, outfits, seasonal themes (summer/winter/Ramadan/New Year), background décor. Every choice shows up on your home screen — and on your profile when friends see you in the weekly league.
The 4 friends in your weekly league can see how happy or sad your pet is, what it's wearing, and its streak — across the season. This small detail noticeably increases social motivation.
Tap falling water droplets to pop them. A reflex game — droplets popped within 60 seconds convert into points.
