Suu is not just another water tracking app. 2% of every Premium subscription is donated each month to clean water well construction projects in Africa. You can verify it right now: click the water drop icon in the bottom-right corner of this page to see the live donation total and download every receipt. No closed doors.
A "water tracker" app cannot pretend that millions of people around the world still lack access to clean drinking water. Suu's founding philosophy is one sentence: water is a human right. Channeling a small slice of Premium revenue into that mission lifts the product above being yet another feature-list app.
But saying "we donate" is easy — proving it is hard. None of the major competitors (WaterMinder, Hydro Coach, Plant Nanny) operate a public donation system. Suu wanted to do this differently.
Every page on suuapp.com has a glassmorphism water-drop button at the bottom-right corner (auto-flips to bottom-left on Arabic pages). Click it to open an animated wooden bucket that fills with water as donations grow.
The total is stored in Turkish Lira but the widget auto-converts to USD / SAR / RUB based on your language. A Saudi user sees 140 SAR while an American sees $38, a Russian 3,375 ₽, and a Turkish user ₺1,500 — same donation, displayed in each visitor's local currency.
Every monthly bank transfer receipt is uploaded as a PDF to suuapp.com/donations/receipts/ and viewable in one click from inside the widget. Which charity, which date, what amount — all visible.
All donation records live in donations.json — a plain JSON file on GitHub. Every update's date, reason, and diff is permanently recorded in the git commit log. So five years from now, the question "what was donated last spring?" is answerable from source control.
The donation system contains only aggregate totals, goals, and receipt metadata. No personal data (who bought Premium, when, from which country) appears anywhere in donation records — fully aligned with KVKK Article 4 and GDPR Article 5(1)(a) transparency principles.
Goal: ₺20,000 (≈ $500) — the construction budget for one community water well. Tap the drop button in the corner for live numbers.

Yes — directly. After App Store / Google Play take their cut, 2% of the net Premium revenue is transferred each month to registered charities accepting water well project donations. Your annual $15 Premium subscription contributes roughly $0.30 to the pool — it sounds small, but collectively over years it adds up to real wells.
Plus, Premium unlocks activity-based dynamic water goals, AI weekly reports, unlimited friend additions, Athlete Mode, PDF/CSV export and more. Try it free for 3 days — no credit card required.
